About Track My Calories
A simple, uncluttered calorie tracker, built by one person for their own weight loss journey.
Why I built it
I made this app for myself. When I started trying to lose weight, I wanted a calorie tracker and kept finding apps full of ads, feeds, social features, streaks and subscriptions. All I wanted was to see, at a glance, how many calories I had left today.
So I built exactly that, and kept it small on purpose. I've been using it on my own weight loss journey, and now I'm sharing it in case it helps you too.
What it does
- A daily budget at a glance. One ring shows what you've eaten and what's left.
- Quick logging. Add a calorie number, calories per 100g and grams, or calories per serving. Recent foods are one tap away, and everything has undo.
- Meals by category. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks, each with a subtotal.
- A budget that fits you. Set your own number, or use the calculator to estimate your maintenance calories (TDEE) and choose a deficit.
- Seven-day history. See how your week is going against your budget.
- Backup and restore. Save your data to a file and bring it back any time.
- Light and dark themes, and it works offline. Add it to your home screen and it behaves like an app.
What it doesn't do
No accounts, no ads, no tracking, no social features and no barcode scanner or giant food database. It does one job, quietly.
Privacy first
Your data stays on your device. I never see it, and there's no sign-up. Read the full Privacy Policy.
A note on advice
I'm sharing what works for me, not medical advice. The numbers are estimates, so please speak to your GP or a dietitian before making big changes to your diet. See the Terms of Use.
